The MPH programs that constitute the Council are all community-based, with long-standing relationships in their local areas and regions. Our students are culturally and linguistically diverse, with background experience in a wide range of fields. Faculty are noted scholars, professional leaders, teachers, and mentors. CAMP programs emphasize teaching, community involvement, competency-based practice, research, and professional development in order to prepare competent public health practitioners.
Graduate-level preparation in this area combines the recognized public health foundations - biostatistics, environmental health sciences, epidemiology, and health services administration with unique areas of concentration as determined by each program. All of the CAMP programs are accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH) which accredits both Schools of Public Health and MPH Programs.
